Underwater Museum Diving (MUSA)

Cancun is too often overlooked as an excellent diving location; in fact they offer some of the worlds best sights of coral reef, flora & fauna! They also feature many beautiful works of art such as the MUSA underwater museum which was created by a handful of talented artist. In fact MUSA has over 500 unique statues & sculptures to view. We offer the MUSA dive individually or go all in with our Cancun Local Dive!

Punta Cancun Diving

Also located in Cancun is the beautiful Punta Cancun Reef; which is one of the deeper sites around 55ft(17m). It offers the chance to see some of the larger life; such as sharks, manta rays & groupers. This experience in one of a lifetime and we offer the proper training by being with PADI certified divers the entire dive! We offer this dive by itself or with an amazing package deal!

Isla Mujeres (Manchones) Diving

The Manchones shallow reefs (33 ft/10 m) are located in front of Isla Mujeres. If the crystal clear water and white beaches don’t attract you; this shallow site offers sites of beautiful coral and big schools of fish. Dive in and see the beautiful Manchones Reefs individually or go all in with our Cancun Local Dive!

A1. In the ocean:

April to November 80 – 84 °F / 27 – 29 °C

December to March 74 – 79 °F / 23 – 26 °C

A2. In the cenotes:

Q? What happens if the weather is too bad to go out?

A. Unfortunately Manta Divers is not in control of the weather, and we can not guarantee sunny skies and calm waters everyday. However, your safety is our number one priority and we will always ensure conditions are satisfactory before we go out. In the event a trip is cancelled due to weather we will make every effort to reschedule. If it is not possible a full refund will be given. However, if a trip is not cancelled and a diver decides to not go out this will constitute as a NO SHOW and the appropriate policy will be applied.

Q? What is the cancellation policy?

A. Please note, if canceled, modified or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Q? Are tips included?

A. No, tips are not included in our prices. In Mexico a tip of 10 – 15 % is suggested if you are satisfied with the service.

A. Yes, all taxes are included in our prices. There are no hidden fees, so what is listed is what you will pay.

PADI Instructors are held to diving’s highest standards. All PADI programs fall under strict educational standards monitored for worldwide consistency and quality. PADI randomly surveys PADI Divers to confirm their courses meet PADI’s high standards as well as the divers’ expectations. A. Yes, there is a chamber located in downtown Cancun. It is available 24/7 for emergencies.
