PADI Advanced Open Water - ISLA

Service Description

Take your diving further with three days and six training dives in Isla Mujeres. The PADI Advanced Open Water course builds confidence, control, and awareness while you explore varied sites including the MUSA Underwater Museum and local reefs. Complete knowledge development before you arrive so we can focus on diving. What you will do You will complete five required Adventure Dives across three days, with a sixth dive for extra practice and touring. Typical plan: • Day 1 MUSA and a shallow reef with Peak Performance Buoyancy and Underwater Navigation woven into easy touring. • Day 2 Local reefs with Deep (to 30 m / 100 ft) and a relaxed Drift dive, emphasizing gas planning, ascent control, situational awareness, and buddy skills. • Day 3 Boat Diver skills and a final fun dive focused on trim and breathing rhythm. Exact sites may vary with conditions to keep the course safe and smooth. Check in and timing Three consecutive days, two dives per day. Check in each morning at our Isla Mujeres shop for gear fit and a short briefing, then board for your training dives. We choose calm, high-visibility sites whenever possible. What is included All scuba equipment sized for you, tanks and weights, optional wetsuit, instructor in the water, bottled water and light snacks, shade, easy ladder entry, oxygen and first aid, and all required fees. With Manta there are no hidden dock or park fees. Who can join Certified Open Water divers ages 12+ who can swim and are in good health. A standard dive medical questionnaire is required; bring any doctor clearance if indicated. A recent refresher helps if you have been out of the water. Skills you will sharpen Neutral buoyancy and trim, propulsion choices, navigation patterns, gas tracking and turn points, deep diving procedures, controlled ascents, SMB use, current awareness, and boat etiquette. Optional add-ons • Private Instructor + Program for one-on-one coaching across all days • GoPro 12 rental with float grip, deposit handled on site • Photo and video package to capture highlights • New mouthpiece to keep • Add a rider or snorkeler on suitable boat days, subject to space What to bring Swimsuit, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and a light cover-up. We monitor weather and port status daily. If conditions are unsafe, we reschedule or refund.
