What is included ?
What does your experience with Manta Divers Cancun include? Absolutely everything you need. We supply all the necessary equipment for your activity, and there are no hidden fees whatsoever. You're welcome to utilize any of our equipment at no extra charge. Our commitment to quality shines through as we renew our equipment annually and maintain it meticulously to ensure you receive top-notch gear.
Your course package encompasses all essential elements, from training dives, tanks, weights, and equipment to bottled water, granola bars, entrance fees to the national park, and a certified instructor. Rest assured that everything required for an outstanding adventure is provided, allowing you to embark on your journey with confidence and peace of mind.
What if the Weather turns bad?
What if the weather takes an unfavorable turn? No worries, we offer a full refund, no questions asked. We'll also make every effort to reschedule your dive days. To maximize flexibility, we recommend scheduling your diving days at the beginning of your Cancun vacation. This way, if the weather is inclement during the early days of your trip, we can easily adjust your dive days to later in your stay. Many land-based activities remain unaffected by wind, but it can be a challenge for boat excursions. You can stay updated on weather conditions using the "Wind Guru app." Additionally, once you've checked into your hotel, please send us an email with your local contact information, including your hotel and room number. If the weather appears uncertain on the day of your dive, reach out to us in the morning. We want to ensure you don't make an unnecessary trip to the shop if conditions aren't favorable. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities.
Do you offer transportation?
While we do not provide transportation services, our location is conveniently situated in the heart of Cancun's hotel zone at KM 15.5 in "Marine Del Ray." Getting to us is a breeze, and you have multiple options. You can easily hail a taxi or arrange for transportation from your hotel. Another excellent choice is taking the R-1 or R-2 Cancun hotel shuttle bus, which operates frequently and costs just $1. The bus system is incredibly efficient in the Cancun hotel zone, with a single road running north and south.
Your hotel's concierge will be more than happy to assist you in organizing a taxi to reach us, and we'll provide the same assistance when it's time to return to your hotel. Our focus is on delivering exceptional dive tours, which is why we don't offer transportation services. It's worth noting that some transport companies may pose as dive shops but could ultimately direct you to wholesale dive centers with large groups of divers. We choose not to collaborate with resellers to ensure transparent and authentic dive experiences. In Cancun, there are only about 10 licensed and insured dive centers, none of which provide transportation, so please exercise caution if such services are offered elsewhere.
Why don't you charge Dock, Park and coral restoration fees?
We do not impose such fees because they simply do not exist. In Cancun, it's unfortunately common for service providers to claim the existence of a government tax that must be paid for each person leaving the dock. However, this is not accurate. Why would a government require a tax that can only be settled in cash upon arrival? It's a questionable practice, and we are committed to building a transparent and honest relationship with you as a Manta customer. We have no intention of beginning our partnership with deceitful tactics or hidden fees.
