Service Description

arn a PADI Junior Open Water certification in Isla Mujeres with a certified parent or guardian learning alongside your junior diver. Complete PADI eLearning at home, then spend two focused days building comfort and control in calm water with clear coaching and small groups. This family friendly path keeps time in the pool brief and maximizes real ocean experience. Schedule overview Day 1 check in 8:00 am. Gear fit, site plan, and a shallow water skills session for breathing, buoyancy, mask clear, and hand signals. After a short break, board the boat around 12:00 pm for two training dives that mix essential skills with easy reef touring. Finish about 2:30 pm. Day 2 check in 7:30 am. Head straight to the boat for dives 3 and 4 on slightly deeper reefs chosen for visibility and comfort. Return by 11:30 am for paperwork and certification review. Junior limits and safety Ages 10 to 11 train and dive to 12 m / 40 ft. Ages 12 to 14 may dive to 18 m / 60 ft. All dives are supervised, with a certified guardian and instructor in the water. We provide oxygen, first aid, radio, shade, fresh water, and easy ladder entry. Weather and port status are checked each morning. If conditions are unsafe, we reschedule or refund. Guardian participation Guardian must be a certified Open Water diver or higher and fully participates both days. Not certified yet? Consider booking the standard adult Open Water course on another date, or join as a rider while your junior trains. What is included All scuba equipment sized for each participant, optional wetsuit, tanks and weights, instructor in the water, bottled water, light snacks, and all required fees. With Manta there are no hidden dock or park fees. Who can join Juniors 10 to 14 who are comfortable swimmers and in good health, plus one certified guardian per junior. A standard dive medical questionnaire is required. If an item indicates a doctor’s clearance, please bring it so we can train as scheduled.
