PADI Rescue Diver - Isla Mujeres

Service Description

Become a more aware and confident buddy with the PADI Rescue Diver course in Isla Mujeres. You will learn to prevent problems, recognize stress, and respond to issues at the surface and underwater. The training blends self rescue skills, assisting tired or panicked divers, missing diver search patterns, equipment handling, and realistic ocean scenarios. Complete PADI eLearning at home so we can focus on practice in the water. Schedule overview Daily by appointment. Day 1 check in 8:00 am at our Isla shop for gear fit, brief knowledge review, and confined water skill circuits. After a short break, run surface exercises and simple scenario drills. Day 2 check in 7:30 am for open water scenarios that combine search and response, rescue breathing in water, exits, and team coordination. Finish late morning with a debrief and next steps. Prerequisites Certified Advanced Open Water or Adventure Diver with Navigation, ages 12+. EFR Primary and Secondary Care or equivalent within 24 months is required. If you need EFR, tell us and we will schedule a session before or during your rescue dates. A standard dive medical questionnaire applies; bring any needed doctor clearance. What is included All scuba gear sized for you, tanks and weights, instructor led scenarios, use of training aids, bottled water and light snacks, shade, easy ladder entry, oxygen and first aid, and all required fees. With Manta there are no hidden dock or park fees. Who can join Comfortable swimmers in good health who meet prerequisites. Recent diving helps, and we refresh buoyancy and basic skills at the start.
