Cancun 2 Tank Wreck and Reef

Service Description

Dive the C55 and C58 shipwrecks, the best wreck diving in Cancun, then finish on a nearby reef. Check in at our dive shop at 8:00 AM. You are back by early afternoon. The wrecks were sunk deliberately to create artificial reefs and have become thriving habitats. They sit between 60 and 80 feet, below the 60 foot limit that comes with an Open Water certification, so this is a dive for people with some experience behind them. Expect big schools of horse-eye jacks, along with tuna, grunts and porkfish moving over the structures. The wrecks themselves are the draw: two large vessels in clear water, impressive from the moment they come into view. Your second tank is a nearby reef, gentler after the depth of the wreck and a good place to finish the morning. An experienced guide dives with you throughout, and all equipment is included: tanks, weights, wetsuit and full gear. WHO CAN JOIN This tour is for certified divers with some experience beyond their Open Water course. If you have not dived below 60 feet before, or it has been a while, talk to us first and we will tell you honestly whether to book this or our Classic Reef tour instead. We include scuba and snorkeling gear, wetsuits, bottled water, seasonal fruits, granola bars, and all taxes and fees.
