Gold Snorkel Cenotes and MUSA - Cancun

Service Description

A full day and two completely different kinds of water. Cenotes in the morning, the underwater museum in the afternoon, with the same guide alongside you throughout. Check in at our dive shop at 8:00 AM. We load the gear and drive south to the cenotes, arriving around 9:00 AM and leaving at 11:30 AM. Back at the shop for lunch, then straight out on the afternoon boat to MUSA. You are back by 4:30 PM. Small group, minimum two people. THE CENOTES Freshwater sinkholes in the limestone of the Yucatan, filled with clear turquoise water and hung with stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years. Snorkeling them is quiet and strange in the best way, with shafts of light coming down through the openings and fish moving beneath you. MUSA The Museo Subacuatico de Arte, an underwater museum of more than 500 life-sized sculptures in shallow water off Cancun. They have been colonised over the years into working artificial reefs, so what began as sculpture is now covered in coral growth and busy with fish. Included: transport from our dive shop to the cenotes, cenote entrance fees, a pre-ordered lunch between the two tours which you choose in the morning before we leave, snorkeling gear, wetsuits, bottled water, seasonal fruits, granola bars, and all taxes and fees. Not included: gratuities, photo and video packages, and souvenirs.
