PADI Advanced Open Water Gold - Cancun

Service Description

The Gold course is our premium Advanced Open Water. The same certification, but instead of staying in Cancun you spend three days across three of the best diving environments in the region, and you finish Nitrox certified as well. You complete the theory at home through PADI eLearning before you travel, so your time here is spent in the water. DAY 1: MUSA Underwater Navigation and Peak Performance Buoyancy at the underwater museum. Navigation gives you the confidence to explore a site rather than follow a guide. Buoyancy is the skill that makes every dive after it easier. DAY 2: COZUMEL Drift Diver training on Cozumel's world-famous wall, letting the current carry you along the drop-off. Your second dive is your choice of Wreck Diver or Boat Diver. DAY 3: CENOTES Into the Mayan jungle for Cavern Adventure Diver and Deep Adventure Diver in the cenotes, the freshwater caverns found nowhere else on earth. Six dives, six specialties, and full Enriched Air Nitrox certification, theory included and completed before you arrive. GOLD OR STANDARD? Our standard PADI Advanced Open Water is $621 and runs entirely from Cancun. Gold is $999. That extra $378 adds a Cozumel wall day, two cenote dives and your Nitrox certification. Booked separately those three would come to more than $750, so if you were likely to do any of them anyway, Gold is the cheaper route. BEFORE YOU BOOK You need to be a certified PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent, and at least 12 years old. Everything is included: return transport from our dive shop to Cozumel and to the cenotes, a light lunch on the boat both days, all scuba gear, wetsuit, tanks, weights, guiding, your PADI eLearning and your Nitrox certification. Exclusions are getting to our dive shop, gratuities, photo and video packages, and souvenirs.
