Service Description

Just south of Cancun lies the laid-back fishing village of Puerto Morelos, home to one of the best protected stretches of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. Diving here feels like stepping back in time: calm water, healthy coral gardens and abundant marine life. Turtles, moray eels, stingrays and countless reef fish thrive in this National Marine Park, where local protections keep the reefs vibrant and uncrowded. Check in at our dive shop at 8:30 AM. We drive you down to Puerto Morelos and have you back by 2:30 PM. Two relaxed reef dives at 30 to 60 feet, with visibility often over 80 feet and minimal current. Longer bottom times, easy conditions, and nothing to fight. If you are newly certified, or you simply want a gentle day on a beautiful reef, this is the trip to book. Between and after your dives you are at our own beachfront restaurant, with the water in front of you. Lunch is not included, but you are welcome to stay and eat with us before we head back. WHO CAN JOIN Certified divers. These are the gentlest conditions we dive, so it is a good choice for anyone recently certified or getting back into it after a break. Included: return transport from our dive shop to Puerto Morelos, tanks, weights, all scuba gear, wetsuit, guiding, all marine park and dock fees, bottled water, seasonal fruits, granola bars, and all taxes and fees. Nothing to pay on arrival. Not included: lunch, gratuities, photo and video packages, and souvenirs.
